James Old, Managing Director
James is an Internet entrepreneur specialising in e-commerce. He is Managing Director of several online businesses ranging from art to telecoms, healthcare to home furnishings. In an effort to reduce his carbon footprint, James will only be using public transport for the next two years.
Nick Boyce, Head of Digital
Nick is a highly experienced creative web developer. He has fourteen years experience in developing websites, including twelve with touchscreen kiosks. During his six years at The Art Group, Nick developed Print on Demand programs for institutions such as Tate, MoMa, Smithsonian, the Art Institute of Chicago, as well as retailers such as Next, B&Q, Selfridges and Habitat.
Ian Barham, Sales & Marketing Director
Ian focuses the company on the needs of the client and the consumer. He brings wide experience of the culture sector, having previously headed up Art on Demand operations for The Art Group, and spent 9 years at the BBC, where Ian was Marketing Director of BBC Books, creating award-winning campaigns for authors such as Simon Schama, David Attenborough and Rick Stein. He likes Rosé. Nothing wrong with that.
Alex Old, Customer Service Director
Alexandra (James' sister) directs our customer service teams across several online businesses. Leading call centre staff in the professional handling of all customer-related issues, Alex is responsible for directing all pre- and post-sale customer requirements. Alex is the friendly face of our operation, just don't ever cold call her...
Stuart Moffatt, Head of Development
Stuart is an online development specialist, with many years of experience creating high-traffic, high-revenue web applications. Previously with Reed-Elsevier, Stuart is responsible for several market-leading and award-winning sites, serving many millions of visitors per year.
Joe Roberts, Head of Special Ops
Joe is a website developer specialising in multi-sector IT solution delivery at a senior level. Focussed on systems architecture and integration, Joe is also highly skilled in customer orientated requirements such as usability and search engine optimisation. Joe has read every technical blog on the Internet. Even those that haven't yet been written.
Chris Heron, Developer
Chris Heron is an experienced web developer who has worked on numerous multi-million pound e-commerce applications in various programming languages. Chris is acutely aware of web development standards and usability he even dabbles in Graphic Design occasionally when James isn’t looking. Chris has a new found enthusiasm for getting into work on his new motorbike although this will inevitably wear off when the winter kicks in.
Tracey Petheridge, Graphic Designer
Tracey takes our briefs, makes things pretty and then watches on as technical limitations change her creations out of all recognition. Fortunately, she's perfectly fine with this.
